Brenda Candland
Brenda is our Special Needs and our Preschool Dirctor. Brenda coordinates with the NC Special Olympics to host their annual event here at the gym each year. Originally from Maryland, Brenda has been here for 8 years. She also coaches Preschool classes, special needs classes and events. Brenda started coaching gymnastics in high school. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with specialize training in child brain development. She has been married for 30 years with six children. Two of her daughters are also preschool coaches at Sonshine.
