Brenda Candland
Brenda is our Special Needs and Preschool Director. Brenda coordinates with the NC Special Olympics to host their annual event here at the gym each year.
Originally from Maryland, Brenda has been here for 8 years. Brenda started coaching gymnastics in high school. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with specialized training in child brain development. Brenda has been married for 30+ years with six children. One of her daughter is part of Sonshine's office team.
